The United Arab Emirates is set to face more weather challenges with forecasts predicting increased rainfall, dusty conditions, and strong winds in the coming days. The National Centre of Meteorology has indicated that wind speeds could reach up to 45 kilometers per hour, potentially impacting various regions across the country.
Convective clouds and rain are anticipated to primarily affect the eastern and western areas, notably around Fujairah and Al Ain. In contrast, Dubai and Abu Dhabi are likely to experience mostly dry conditions, though residents are advised to remain cautious due to the possibility of reduced visibility caused by blowing dust.
Authorities are urging motorists to exercise extra caution while driving, as the dusty conditions could pose risks on the roads. The meteorological conditions suggest a need for vigilance, particularly in areas where visibility may be compromised.
Despite the unsettled weather patterns, the UAE is expected to maintain its characteristically high temperatures. Forecasts indicate that temperatures could soar to 46 degrees Celsius in Abu Dhabi, 45 degrees Celsius in Dubai, and even reach up to 49 degrees Celsius in Al Quaa over the weekend.
