The Gulf nation, alongside Oman and Pakistan, is actively facilitating communication between the two countries by exchanging proposals and ideas. While President Trump has indicated that discussions with Iran are in progress, the Iranian government has refuted claims of direct negotiations with the US, asserting that any talks are being conducted solely through Oman.
Optimism is also emerging from senior US officials regarding the potential reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, a critical conduit for the global transport of oil and liquefied natural gas. Despite these positive indications, the negotiations are ongoing, and no conclusive agreement has been reached as of yet.
