As the new academic year begins, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan extended a warm welcome to over 1.2 million students returning to school, emphasizing their role as the “future of the nation.” In a heartfelt audio message, Sheikh Mohamed congratulated students, educators, school staff, and parents, urging them to prioritize continuous learning and the cultivation of future-ready skills. He highlighted the importance of harnessing artificial intelligence and technology for positive outcomes.
Sheikh Mohamed also emphasized the essential partnership between parents and teachers in fostering creativity, lifelong learning, and a strong national identity and values. His remarks come at a pivotal time as the UAE’s education sector rebounds from significant disruptions experienced in the previous academic year.
Across the UAE, more than 1,180 public and private schools have reopened their doors, welcoming students back to classrooms. The country’s education landscape is also expanding, with several new schools joining the system. This development underscores the UAE’s commitment to strengthening its educational infrastructure and providing robust learning opportunities for its youth.
Adding to the encouragement for the new academic year, Dubai Ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum also addressed students, urging them to chase their ambitions.
