Dubai’s Crown Prince, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, who also serves as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, recently recognized the remarkable achievement of four students from Dubai Schools Al Khawaneej. These students clinched the gold medal at the Greenwich International Innovation Olympiad in London, an event that saw participation from 80 different countries.
The victorious team, comprising Ali Al Jarwan, Khalifa Al Marzouqi, Omar Al Balooshi, and Saeed Abu Al Shawareb, earned top honors with their innovative Smart Irrigation Train project. Their success stands out as a significant accomplishment, having outperformed numerous global competitors.
Sheikh Hamdan commended the students for their dedication and creativity, highlighting them as exemplary figures for young Emiratis. In his praise, he underscored the vital role that creative young minds play as key assets to a nation’s advancement and prosperity.
Further, Sheikh Hamdan encouraged students throughout the UAE to pursue excellence, urging them to approach education with determination and ambition. He stressed the importance of setting high goals for both their academic pursuits and future professional endeavors.
