by admin477351

The United Arab Emirates has issued a strong condemnation of recent Iranian military actions targeting Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and Jordan. The UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs described these attacks as a grave threat to the stability and security of the region, emphasizing that they constitute a blatant violation of the sovereignty of neighboring nations. In its statement, the ministry reiterated the UAE’s unwavering support for the affected countries.

In addition to expressing solidarity with Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and Jordan, the UAE also criticized Iran’s aggressive actions in Iraq’s Kurdistan region. The ministry warned that such provocations could lead to further destabilization across the Middle East, a region already fraught with tensions.

According to reports from Kuwaiti officials, an Iranian strike targeted a power and water desalination plant, resulting in a fire that caused extensive damage to several electricity-generation units. This incident underscores the potential for significant disruption to essential infrastructure in the region.

Meanwhile, Jordan’s military reported that its air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed three missiles that had penetrated the country’s airspace. Fortunately, there were no casualties or material damages reported as a result of this incident. Similarly, Bahrain’s armed forces confirmed that their air defense systems effectively neutralized multiple Iranian aerial threats.

These aggressive maneuvers by Iran come amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, particularly following ongoing military exchanges involving Iran and the United States. The situation highlights the precarious nature of regional security and the need for diplomatic efforts to prevent further escalation.
